Book Sale for Lebanon!

It’s another book sale and community gathering, this time to support relief efforts in Lebanon! 📚 🇱🇧
Sunday, November 17, 1-3pm at the Northampton Center for the Arts at 33 Hawley. Hosted by Valley Families for Palestine (VFP).
We will fill the beautiful Flex Room (upstairs) with hundreds of new or gently used books! Fill your own bag or box with books curated for all ages including picture books, middle grade, young adult, and grown-up books.
VFP will have snacks and activities for kids including temporary tattoos, button-making, stickers, and coloring pages.
And who doesn’t love a good bookmark? VFP kids will be selling the bookmarks they created at the Read and Resist Fest.
Suggested donation: $1-10 per book (no one turned away for lack of funds). Preferred payment method is Venmo. Cash also accepted.
Funds will go to support a fundraiser run by VFP organizer Farah Assi, who has many family members and friends currently in Beirut.
Optional: bring a boxful or bagful of gently used books (20 max) to donate if you’d like! Recently released picture books and graphic novels are especially welcome. If you’d like to donate more, please get in touch with VFP.
