Stop L3Harris! Stop the US War Machine!

On Tuesday, October 8th – one year since Israel began its genocidal assault on Palestinians in Gaza, and as the Israeli military attempts to conquer the West Bank as well – a broad coalition in Western Mass will come together to rally and march on the sidewalk outside L3Harris. With our U.S. tax dollars, and within our very own neighborhood, L3Harris manufactures weapons that has contributed to the the Israeli military’s killing of at least 41,000 Palestinian people, likely tens of thousands more.
The L3Harris facility in Northampton, MA manufactures electrical gun directors and optical systems for submarines, warships, and combat vehicles. They are contracted by Boeing to supply critical components of Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAM) kits, which were used to drop JDAM-guided bombs on the al-Mawasi refugee camp this summer, killing and injuring 390 Palestinians.
Globally, L3Harris produces components for bombs, drones, and surveillance technologies used by the Israeli military in the Gaza Strip, at the southern U.S. border against migrants, and in police forces across the U.S.
After one year of genocide: Enough is enough! No more weapons to this genocidal military!
Bring your art, your songs, musical instruments, pots and pans, and anything to make a lot of noise!
This is not intended to be a legally risky event. We will rally at 4 pm on the sidewalk, then march at 4:30. The march will be less than a mile long and contain a gradual hill. If marching is not accessible to you, you can drive alongside marchers and make noise! Street parking is available in Village Hill, across from L3, or at the Noho Community Gardens (0.2 miles away). Space on the sidewalk is limited, please be prepared to mask when close together. 🇵🇸
